Training Trekking Guides

Our training programs for trekking guides contains the following topics:​

• Choosing the best path for each trek, regarding topics of interest, difficulty and safety.

• Creating a skeleton for guiding for each trek - the most interesting topics to talk about along the route. 

• Getting familiar with the most interesting topics of natural history along the treks.

• Identifying emblematic and interesting fauna & flora. 

• Understanding our target public - the trek-loving tourists - who are them, what do they expect to experience, see and hear.

• Didactical techniques to work with trek-loving tourists. 

• Beyond nature - what else can be interesting for these tourists in the sites where the guides are working (culture, history, etc.). 

• Responsible guiding (environmentally & socially).

• Trekking safely.

• Basic marketing tools. 

• Practicing everything in the field.
