Our training programs for birdwatching guides contains the following topics:

• Getting familiar with the equipment: telescope, binoculars, books, and audio equipment.

• Identifying the birds in the field - by sight and by sounds. 

• Understanding our target public - the birdwatchers - who are them, what do they expect to see.

• Didactical techniques to work with birdwatching tourists. 

• Getting familiar with the online resources: e-bird, xeno-canto, merlin and other relevant apps. 

• Beyond birds - what else can be interesting to the birdwatchers in the sites where we work (emblematic fauna & flora, culture, history). 

• Responsible guiding (environmentally & socially).

• Basic marketing tools. 

• Practicing everything in the field.
